As you may be aware, the planning application below, relating to a strip of land to provide a road at the bottom of Thorpe Downs Road has been withdrawn.

This application had attracted a lot of response from residents and had been brought in front of the planning committee.
There were a great number of comments submitted to the officers at SDDC. Following some of the feedback, it had been requested that a Newt survey was to take place and this can only happen at certain times of the year. As a result, the applicant has withdrawn the application.
This does not affect any other potential development in the area and we recommend that residents take time to look at the Local Plan information on the SDDC website, on the link below:

From scanning the local press of late there have been a number of cases where residents are unhappy with proposed development with plans in Linton and Repton recently featuring.
