As mentioned previously in the blog, outline planning permission was granted earlier in the year for a mixed housing and employment development off Swadlincote Lane near Cadley Hill and Castleton Park. This was a development that we spoke against for a number of reasons including school provision.
The more detailed proposal for the first phase of housing has now been submitted as an application.
