After much negotiation, the zebra crossing on Wilmot Road which provides a key pedestrian link between Church Gresley and Swadlincote will be upgraded to a puffin crossing.
A new crossing will be installed further down Wilmot Road near the park to provide a safe crossing point near The Common. The new crossing is mainly funded from developer contributions from the Staley Close development and therefore has to be used in the locality.
