Event for people with disabilities

Do you live in the South Derbyshire or Burton-on-Trent area?
Do you have a disability – or do you care for someone who does?
Would you like to help make sure people with disabilities get the services they want?
South Derbyshire CVS is facilitating an event to discuss setting up a new organisation which would be run by people with disabilities, for people with disabilities.

This will take place on:

Tuesday 7th May 2013

10am to 12.30pm at Oakland Village, Swadlincote

Wed 1 May: BBC Children In Need funding surgery

With Dawn Watts, Regional Officer, BBC Children in Need

Do you make a positive difference to the lives of children and young people?

BBC Children in Need funds organisations working to combat or alleviate disadvantage, including living in poverty or situations of deprivation; disability; behavioural or psychological difficulties; illess, distress, abuse or neglect.

Tue 21 May: Heritage Lottery Fund funding surgery

With Sarah Finch from the Heritage Lottery Fund.

So you have a heritage project idea? Do you need funding to achieve it?

The Heritage Lotery Fund has a range of grants from £3,000 - £5 million!

Appointments available 10am to 4pm, booking essential
