Safer Neighbourhoods and Area 4 Forum

Tuesday 12th November marks the quarterly Safer Neighbourhood and area forum for Area 4.  This is a public meeting and all are welcome and encouraged to express views and concerns.  The event for this quarter is Granville School in Woodville.  The event will be open from 5.45pm for refreshments and registration.

Area 4 comprises the wards of Church Gresley, Swadlincote and Woodville and the meetings take place at various places within these wards.

The first meeting (Safer Neighbourhoods) runs from 6.15pm to 7.15pm and includes the following:

• Introduction and review of previous minutes
• Summary of  Crime figures and presentation by local police of issues / initiatives.
• Safer South Derbyshire Partnership update.
• Project funding ideas and approval
• Open question session from the public.
• Agreement of Priorities.

The second meeting (Area Forum) runs from 7.30pm and includes the following:

• Introduction and review of previous minutes.
• Presentation from SDDC regarding a topical subject.
• Questions and Feedback to County Council Liaison Officer.
